[V8] 5 Seed Conversion

Hey all,

I took the '92 V8 to a body shop to get a small repair done and one of the
shop guys ripped the transmission gate (I told the guy I gave the keys to
how to press down, so much for service) so its wobbling between gears.  My
Audi guy wants $1300 to fix it.  Any suggestions?  The shifter gate light
is also out now.
