[V8] Steering rack mount

Hey, I'm posting this for Richard Valencia as he still can't post to the list for some reason.  His 5-speed has a cracked steering rack mount(drivers wheelwell) like mine/others have had.  I ended up with a moderatly involved welding project.  Just curious if anyone else has had same issue and fixed it without welding.  Seems like it might be doable with some sheetmetal on both sides/rivets.  He's having trouble finding someone that wants to tackle the welding.....Tom
