[V8] What size caliper rebuild kits do I need (G60)?

Since the G60 front setup is not considered adequate to stop the car you may want to look at what upgrades may be available now.

I've looked at changes for the UFO's but not the G60. Your strut assemblies are different.

Subject: [V8] What size caliper rebuild kits do I need (G60)?

Hi all,

I've been off the list a while as I had some distracting life events over
the last two years - house fire, parental illness, etc. Things are back to
battery now.

My V8 has sat a while and this winter, I'm going all through my V8 5-speed
and rebuilding most systems, removing lots of parts for
refurbishing/refinishing, etc. Goal is to have it all done by next summer.
The driveline is fine, but I need to attend to all hydraulics, one axle,
headliner, some body issues (more on that later).

First - what size caliper rebuilds kits do I need? When I look at part
catalogs, I see both 54mm and 60mm kits for the Girling brakes. I was the
2nd owner on this and it already had the G60 conversion on it, so I don't
know where it came from. The car was in NY and VT from 1991 to 2002. It's
really pretty clean underneath except the suspension and brakes, so I'm
taking them all off to strip/refinish/or replace components as a first step.

Thanks. There will be lots of questions over the winter.
