That Lincoln is a gussied-up Ford Edge.
You should test drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I’ve said it before: I really like my ’06 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7L V8 and real AWD. It’s compact compared to most SUVs. It plays the wagon roll perfectly. It’s a work horse - I used it to remodel a house I flipped. I got mine with available 4WD low; it can pull my Jeep Wrangler with plow out of a snowbank. I have almost 170K miles on it. It purrs like a kitten. Mercedes had its fingers in its development, so it steers and handles like you want. You can save a few pennies and get it with a (non-Ford) V6.
