Please take your politics elsewhere. This is a diesel list and you are
way out of line. I hope you understand that your polemics convince few
and your bad manners convict many as to the lack of civility you show to
others and your closed mindedness.

I practice organic farming and was a member of the organic organization
in our state. You do the movement a disservice by your attacks on good
people.

A realistic appraisal of any problem show that you win more with honey
than vinegar. Many farmers practice IPM which is a reaction to more
responsible and economical pesticide and herbicide use.

As far as biodiesel, the costs involved in producing it will never make
it a commercial alternative to petroleum based diesel in the near
future. And by them you will be looking at many other alternative
fuel/power sources. Especially since the current estimates of oil
available is in the 100-200 year span. Cheap always wins.
