High-pressure switch (turns fan on "High" has green, or green w/ white stri=
pe, wires. The other switch is either a low pressure switch to prevent com=
pressor operation w/ low charge OR a temp switch that prevents compressor f=
rom operating below 40 degrees F outside. Don't know which, but the owners =
manual states A/C will not operate below 40 deg. F. It has brown or brown/w=
hite stripe wires.

Then there is a thermal cut-out switch screwed into the upper coolant hose =
flange on the head that has either green, or green/white stripe wires that =
cuts off the A/C compressor if the engine runs too hot. Bentley diagrams t=
hese too.

Yes it should, unless you have a sensor very near the condenser to regulate
this- turns on the fan when condenser is hot. I've seen it both ways, but =
the
wires were there, meaning it was probably removed. You do have the high/low
pressure switches hooked up, to the A/C clutch circuit, right? Are those the
wires you are referring to?
