As with anything preceived as "green," only a small
percentage will actually move away from the security
of their dino diesel and buy it. Price is a motivating
factor as well. For instance, *I* wouldn't go out and
buy the $3.00/gal biodiesel they're selling in
Northern California. Why should I? I can already buy
twice as much fuel for the same money.

For something to gain widespread use it has to be
priced competitively. Judging from the above cost,
biodiesel isn't (however, Hayden's mix is, since he at
one time quoted the cost to be roughly one-half dino
diesel). Therefore, it seems to me that Hayden, with
his small plant in his garage, it turning out a MUCH
CHEAPER product than the large-scale operator. That
indicates to me that he's doing something right and
they're doing something wrong.
