[Vwdiesel] Good engine shop in Oregon (Willamette Valley)

Thanks Don...there is a VW shop nearby (in Corvallis). They shall remain
nameless...but I had them do a timing belt. They put it on 2 cogs off.
Needless to say, unhappiness, and a couple broken valves. :-(

So, it's worthwhile to tow the bus 40 miles to get it done right!

I'll give them a call to see if I can have the engine shipped there, and
if they know about what needs to be done to put one in a van. After all is
said and done, I will report to the list.
