[Vwdiesel] '91 Jetta TD fuel pump leak

Hey all,
Wife's '91 Jetta TD is experiencing a leak at the fuel pump.  It appears to
be coming from the outer LH side housing area.  If it's just an outer seal
it will probably be easy to fix.  But... in order to put the pump back in do
I need a VW timing, etc tool?  My nearest VW and bosch service centre is
over 800km away so I'm hoping I can do this myself.
