[Vwdiesel] totalled. again.

I hear ya. When I still had my '86 Jetta TD, I was unlucky enough to be
involved in two serious collisions in two years, neither of which were my
fault. I thought someone had a vendetta against my poor car. On the first
occasion, a large deer ran out in front of me on a dark 2-lane in the middle
of the night. Didn't see it until it was careening over my hood. $6000.00
damage to a ten year old car, and the insurance company fixed it! The
second incident saw me hit broadside by a 17 year old girl in her mother's
Cadillac in downtown Toronto. She decided that the rules of the road gave
her the right of way to make a left turn while I was proceeding through a
green light at an intersection. She was charged, the Jetta had another
$4000.00 in damage, and once again, the insurance company came through and
repaired it. I never got to witness a third incident, since I sold the car
shortly after.
