[Vwdiesel] TDI Sales

I was into Valley VW in Kentville, NS back in July and had a conversation
with their sales guy, who said that every Jetta wagon he had coming to him
was spoken for, and every one was a TDI.  My local dealer her in Cambridge,
ON sells 4 TDIs for every one gasser, and that includes all 3 available gas
engines.  Passat sales are a small percentage of the total, compared to the
Golf/Jetta, since there is no TDI option.  My buddy at the dealer says he
gets questions every day about the nonexistent Passat TDI.  They'd sell a
lot more Passats in Canada if they provided a diesel option.   Hello, VW?
