  Yeah, if you're the least bit inclined to evacuating and recharging the A/C
system, do it!  The compressor does surprisingly tuck away nicely.  The
condenser is another thing!  I wasted a lot of time and frustration on that
thing. I think I finally pulled it and it was much easier.  I really only
remember
fighting it and getting nowhere!  Mine, anyway wouldn't go out of the way
as described.  The hoses would kink if I tried to move it completely as
described.  Just pull it, get new o-rings where you break it open and
recharge.  I don't recall if Bentley says to remove the triangle mount
bracket thing or not.  On the rear of the tranny is a bracket for the mount.
Pull the whole bracket out, don't just unbolt the mount.  It's tight enough
against the master cylinder with it gone!  You'll want to be able to "roll"
the engine forward as I recall.  The tough clearance is back at the
firewall and master cylinder.  It's been a few years so I'm more than
vague.  ;-)
