[Vwdiesel] old Diesel question

I mean literally the fuel this time. I finally have a house with a
garage and means that I could finally fill it with all the Diesel
projects I've had languishing outside. One of those projects is a '65
MB 190Dc that has been sitting for about 12 years. Engine's still free,
and I'm very optimistic about getting it to start, but I don't want to
try and start it with a bunch of 12 year old Diesel fuel in it. I don't
know how much fuel's in it (no battery to run the fuel gauge yet), but
any one have any ideas how to deal with several gallons of old nasty
Diesel fuel? I'm sure as heck not going to run it through the Jetta. I
should be able to flush out the fuel system with the hand priming pump
on the injection pump once I get the old out and the new in, but I gotta
do something with all that old fuel. And my job is keeping people from
dumping illegal stuff down the sewer, so that's out. Shame I don't have
an old fuel oil heater to run it through (I live in Dallas barely have
any heater).

Any ideas?

Thanks.
