My car has a black hole that ate 4 of the nuts I dropped working on the #1
cylinder behind the pump. They don't fall through to the floor and I never
found them. I poked around with my magnet and they are just gone??

  They're probably all behind the injector pump bracket.  If you really look
close with a bright light you might be able to see an edge.  Sometimes
you can poke a wire up from the bottom and move them.  They hide in
there really well!  ;-)
