[Vwdiesel] 1.6L diesel Vanagon FS

 I found this in the for sale section on Fred's TDI forum. Maybe someone
here would be interested? If someone who is on a Vanagon list wants to post
it there, it might be good too.

I have run it since 1988 when i bought it at about 70K miles. 1982 model,
approx 180K miles on original engine - very reliable, and has regular oil
changes with Rotella T along with OEM filters used. Valves and timing belts
have been regularly PM'd or replaced as specified. Timing set for 0.91mm
lift for our altitude (2000m).

The body is looking old, and ball joints are prob shot (new parts included
to replace them). It has a large VDO tachometer installed and a VDO oil
pressure guage. Denon stereo plus amp under seat.
Recent battery and OK Conti tires.Kept all records since I got it.

Asking $950, you haul or drive it away from New Mexico. Will make a good
water cooled conversion engine for a Vanagon, having the big oil pan and oil
cooler, etc. Or use it as is, slowly.
