[Vwdiesel] Alt. light on at high RPM's

I know you can also pick up a whole voltage regulator for like $20 or
something, if you don't want to try to find correct brushes that fit.  just
unscrew and replace, if the commutator is in good condition of course.  My
alt. problem ended up being a rear bearing failure, as I took the regulator
to see how the brushes were, and remnants of bearings and dust shields lay
on the bottom...
