You are talking about the 1.6idi turbo? I understand that this can be done
handily using the Quantum exhaust manifold. You will have to fab something
to connect the intake up and an exhaust, change the oil pan, oil pump/pick
up over and tap in an oil return to the oil pan, just above the normal oil
level. There may also be annoying little clearance and hook up problems
with the oil cooler and timing belt cover, nothing big, just irritating.
Also the wiring to cut and splice if you have a plug type connector v/s the
bade connectors. I hope you have the intake hose so you can cut and splice
it.

Alternatively, if you have the small diameter KKK turbo you may be able to
use the engine as is with just some clearance cuts for oil return, waste
gate. Some have fabbed new engine mounts, not worth the trouble for a 1.6.

Have you checked Martin Jagersand's website? Also Karl Mullendorf has pix
and info.

How is the Biodiesel coming along? I would like to try some B20 in the Tdi
but the only places that sell it are 12 and 20 miles out of my way.
