A home type steam cleaner is now available for $50 or so over the BigI(internet)... I doubt if it is any good, but it seems to be a good idea.I have cleaned many engines, sometimes ending up with water inside the distributer cap (showing my age again!!), otherwise no problem, BUT, cast aluminum is a problem, it can look like hell when not properly cleaned..Adrian the madman
