The original Heidelberg tape deck is Matsushita electric inc. (Panasonic),
unless they labeled all kinds of radios with that "heidelberg" insignia.
When it works, it is fairly good in my opinion.  I actually had a lot of
problems with reception due to my automatic antenna for some reason (yes, it
was even going up and down, but NO reception)  I got so pissed off at it I
ripped it out, cable and all and ran a new antenna cable with a fixed mast
(this was on my Quantum)  Just a little story to entertain!
