Actually I would have guessed that they were manufactured by Clarion. That
is if the Heidelberg is a crummy radio. The one in my 1991 Vanagon Carat
works perfectly (but according to your post it may well be on its last
legs!). I've gone through 3 Saab Clarions in my '87 900S and they are all
junk
