Lots of questions today - been saving them up ;-) I think this is the last
one though!

I've noticed a kind of rumbling sound coming from underneath my van - around
halfway back towards the passenger side. It seems to occur most when I'm
gently accelerating between approx 10 - 25 mph or so and the speed of the
rumble increases with the speed of the van. It goes away when I'm above 20
- 25 mph and does not occur again until I've stopped and pulled off again.
It may actually occur more when I'm turning to the left and accelerating.

At first I thought this might be a CV joint or something with the wheel, but
I'm not sure. I guess as the wheel is further back in the vanagon than most
other vehicles I'm familiar with it could be coming from that area, but the
sound seems to come from a little further back where the metal may be
thinner?

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this sound, and whether its
symptomatic of a problem.

Thanks again for your help.

Cheers,

Jon
