This is really helping me.
My 92 ECO has 179,000 miles on it and is only getting around 40 MPG. If I
drive it faster than 65mph it runs hot. I may be lazy, but I drive 70-75 and
just have the heat blowing to keep it cool. I have been doing this for about
a year. There is no oil in the coolant yet.
It sounds like it's time to break into the engine, and do the rings and head.
I had been thinking about removing the catalytic converter, because after
those miles it must be bad. and it was making it run hot. Any ideas?
