We checked those yesterday. Pulled the sender unit out and did find
the boot that connects the return tube to the pickup reservoir was loose
on one end. Everything looked like a good fit otherwise. It's just darn
odd the way it's all set up. Everything about the recirc. system makes
it more difficult to clear all air from the system! The pickup is just a
tube
with a bottom and a grid of holes about 1 x 2 in the bottom of the side.
I figured the next step is a plug in the hoses at the tank end and a Mitee
Vac put on the engine end of them. Check for leakage.
How do you know if the check valves need replaced?
