[Vwdiesel] new old golf & quesitons

I got an '85 Jetta (first year of the aerodynamic headlights) and I just bought a
brand spankin' new set of Hella headlight units (DoT spec) on e-Bay for a steal
and EXPENSIVE krypton bulbs. I thought they would be great, since the old glass
was quite sand blasted from 255,000 miles of use. Man..... I'm still QUITE
disappointed in the light output (both quantity and side lighting. These A-2 DoT
spec lights just plain suck!!!!
