I cranked my '81 Rabbit up a little bit. You have to grind off the crimp
they put on the screw at the factory. I turned mine in about 1/2-3/4 turn.
It's fun to experiment with it. I cranked it in all the way to 1 1/2 turns
and drove it that way... A HELL of a lot more power and alot of black smoke
(cool!). But the fuel mileage drops down to about 25. I leave it about 2/3
turn in from stock and get about 38-40 MPG and the motor probably has about
10-15HP greater than stock.
