[Vwdiesel] Torn tie rod boots?

  A boot is a boot, except for left or right.  It seems like you can
pull them over the inner end since there's a spacer that it fits on
thus leaving the outer end with a much larger hole than the tie rod
diameter.  I saw today that my right one is in two pieces and it's
not that old.  :(  You really have to watch them getting twisted
when you have an alignment.  My guy is pretty thorough but he
still left Dad's new ones twisted and I had to go back before they
got caught in the teeth and damaged.
