[Vwdiesel] thermostats

That's exactly where I like to see the needle - just touching the LED on the
left side.  Anything over that always makes me nervous.  That said, I wish I
had a digital gauge - who knows whether my needle and your needle are
calibrated the same?

I run an 87C (~189F) thermostat.  ETKA says that is stock.  Sometimes I wish I
had more heat (like this morning when it was 12F outside), but hotter has
always been a symptom of other problems for me.
