The first thing I'd check is the throttle cable. Make sure you're getting
full
pedal travel (no carpet under the pedal) and full travel at the pump when
it's
floored.
If setting it back gave you more power then I'd give the factory specs a
shot. I know my Dasher has a .88 pump and it's not too impressive
until the turbo kicks in.
Otherwise there's the standard stuff of air filter, no rat's nest in the
intake
resonator tube, non restricted exhaust and good injectors. And of course
compression/general state of engine health. I suppose it's possible someone
change the transmission as well as the engine. Maybe you ended up with
a higher ratio transmission than original? That would sure be gutless.
If you turned the fuel screw out one full turn you'll loose a ton of power!
I kicked the Dasher from about 500F to almost 1400 F, EGT with roughly
a quarter turn!
