  Not sure about working with the stock sender but there are a lot of
places that sell VDO on the internet.  None are really all that great of
prices though.  :(  Personally I'd take a look at dieselpage.com.  They
have the best prices on pyrometers.  Also, when they sell a complete
gauge kit, it's complete!  Wiring, sender and all.  Most of the other places
I looked had better prices on gauge kits but when you read it all together,
it was only the gauge!  Wiring and sender were separate and totaled to
more and it left you unsure you were getting all that you needed.  :P
