[Vwdiesel] Caddy front springs

I ordered the Pickup front springs from the Parts Place and they have worked
out terrific. A little extra height and extra load capacity. If I remember
right, it was way less the $100 for the two springs. That plus Roger's rear
springs, and my truck can carry anything that will fit!

Subject: [Vwdiesel] Caddy front springs

Howdy group;
I need some help. The front strut springs on our 2 -1981 vw diesel trucks
are soft and saggy. Time for new carts too.
I believe there was discussion regarding Golf or newer vehicle springs
working well.
I forgot which models will interchange.
The only new springs I find on-line are for lowering the body and are
expensive. I would rather raise the body as we use these like trucks
sometimes, not street lowriders.
Which original application springs fit and will stiffen the ride, and raise
the body?
Anyone have any extra sets, or know of any available to buy?
I have a shed full of rabbit parts, but those springs are all shot too.
These vehicles just go too many miles.
thanks
Cotter
