The new bushings are splined on the outside so they drive in and deform
the splines a bit for a tight fit. I always use a tap and vise-grips. Run
the
tap in until it's well in and then grip the tap with vise-grips and lever and
pull it out. The last one I did broke in half so I got to pull it twice!

Stretch head bolts are the scariest things to torque! Some creak and
pop and you swear it's going to break. Others will break loose and turn
fairly easily. None feel like a real bolt being turned 1/4 turn. DO NOT
skip torquing the one. If they're all new and you cleaned out the bolt
holes, you should have nothing to worry about. :)
