I had the same thing happen a couple of times on the 87.
The common thing was I used a different ring of keys than usual, which had a
quite a few keys flopping around on it.
I finaly caught it when I noticed one of the wild keys had slipped between
the steering wheel hub and the stationary collector ring for the horn
contact, grounding it momentarily. I think it blew the horn on the 94 once too.
Only the big bunch of keys, my regular ring only has 4 keys on it.
