Hi Kris --

This all sounds vaguely fishy, but if you're stuck then you're stuck.
A pump which has a leak at the pulley end has one or more of three
problems.  1) the seal is shot -- easy to fix;  2) the bushing is shot
-- non-trivial to fix, I personally don't know how to do it as it
supposedly involves align boring;  3) according to my local Bosch guy,
the vane pump can be destroyed when the front bushing gets overly worn.

You'll get some great advice on this from the list, people who know more
than me.  In the meantime, that's what I know ;)
