[Vwdiesel] No power TDI

Help!  On my way home from work today I lost all the pep in my 99 A4
Jetta TDI.  It was all I could do to go 110km on the flat, no wind.  Any
hills and I was doing 80 km
where I was doing 110 -120kmph yesterday.  The car has 113,000km on it,
Delo Synth 5-40 every 8000 km.  Observations I made
  I can’t hear
(outside) the usual low level whistle of the turbo at idle, or when I
rev it.  The clear fuel line on the fuel filter has lots of air bubbles
traveling through it.  No warning lights on dash.  I am due for a fuel
filter..could this possibly be a clogged filter issue
