[Vwdiesel] glow plug relay

Hi all,

  My daughters 82 VW Rabbit diesel when turning the key to the glow plug po=
sition will stay glowing for  up to minute.  I changed the relay with a fas=
t relay I had from another VW diesel and it still does it.  Any idea's what=
s going on. The glow plugs work because the car starts fine.
