OK, good deal, glad to see you made it.
What was wrong that you couldn't sign on, if I may ask? We should try and
see if we can get it "fixed" so that others won't go through the same
hassles. Makes me wonder what the status of the list membership is if new
people can't join. How many have simply given up and moved on?

I'd like to go OT for a moment, please, if this doesn't interest you move
along...... :-))

How many Amateur radio operators do we have on the list now? I know it must
be at least 5 or 6. I've been playing around with Echolink for a little
while now and I think it would be an ideal way to have a dieselhead net
every so often, what with the geographical spread between list members and
the fact that not all of us have HF privileges or capabilities.
If you're not familiar with Echolink, see here:
http://www.echolink.org/el/
The good thing about it is that if you're reading these messages, you
probably have almost all of the required equipment to operate in this mode
already.

Just a thought, I think it would be interesting to ragchew and at least hear
the voices behind the e-mails! If anyone is interested, e-mail me off-list
and we can try and set up a sked.
