[Vwdiesel] Sucking Oil Change Pump

Well I did it.  I bought a sucking oil changing pump.  Boats US.  Yep those
mariner types must have big bucks.  Years ago, with a 23 foot sail boat,
out on Lake Ontario, I thought sailing was great.  Flying and a spouse who
doesn't tolerate bouncing on the water got in the way.  But man, if I ever
won the lottery, a boat shop would be the place to spend it!

Anyway, for the sale price of $35, they had a plastic 8 qt container, with
a pump on the top of it.  Pull a vacuum, stick the plastic hose down
deep into the dipstick tube, and unclip the clamp on the suction line.
It's all over when it sounds like the Fonz finishing off a strawberry
shake.

Big ice storm here today, with a stationary front sporting a nice inversion.
Even so, I'll get a chance to change my oil this weekend, and report on the
real performance of the sucking oil changing pump.  I can't wait.

Then again, I _might_ just do it the old fashioned way...
