OK, if that's the case, how do I test for this?  (which "pump" are we
talking about?)  Remember , this is all new to me. (doh!)

BTW, I rarely see any smoke out the tailpipe, though I did notice a tiny bit
yesterday when I started it up. Certainly none blowing out when I am driving
around normally. (I don't know if this makes any difference or not, BTW, but
thought I'd mention it)
