I brought home my first load of dirty fryer fat today, the learning curve is
steep. now to fashion a water separator, strainer, filter apparatus. Then on
with the methyl esters.

Obviously the way to make this bearable is to reduce "decanting" to a
minimum by using plumbing and pumps.

I really like the setup (in England, I think) where he pulls a vacuum on the
retort to vaporize the extra meth, condenses it, and collects it in a tank
for re-use.
So much more sensible (and safer) than boiling it off to atmosphere and much
simpler than water washing.

I have a domestic hot water heater ready to go to work.
