Glad to hear it Sandy!
I have just hit 2000 miles on my newly rebuilt 86 jetta. Half of those miles
were on used vege oil. Engine operation is identical for the most part. i see
less smoke with the vege oil, and the engine runs a little quieter. The idle
does seems a little slow to respond on vege. The smell is a lot better! I'm not
making biodiesel here; just burning 100% pure used free canola oil. It is
heated and filtered, and burns without a problem.

Next I plan on converting my diesel vanagon to digest a vege diet! Just as soon
as I can repair the hydraulic clutch system.
