It's probably okay Dennis. They are a funny looking seal to start with-
they overhang the seating surface quite a bit. If you pull the hub, you
change the seal anyway. You have to spoil the inner hub seal to get at the
circlip holding the hub on as well, so you get the seals as a kit- hub
outer, inner, and a new circlip. Inner is just a circle with a lip that
closes the hole in the hub center.
