  Do a Renault TD in the Jeep.  The parts are out there for a bolt in.  :)

course the engine would about have to come from a parted Jeep, small
Itasca or LeSharo motor home.  The Jeep used a smaller turbo for better
response, the motor homes used intercoolers.  Several full size pickups
got small Detroits put in them just before GM started putting out the
diesels and almost diesels.
