Thanks for that observation, Hayden,
that is unfortunate. I wonder if the engine could be tilted slant 6
style, and help with clearance issues. Probably not the best idea
though. maybe the hood and dash could be modified to allow another
foot of clearance? If it is possible, it would be really messy.
