I haven't seen yellow diesel for years now. All our "road fuel" is a
greenish
color. I liked the nice amber stuff. My sister still gets amber #1 or off
road,
for their tractor, in southern OR.

For the most part it seems to be. Ours is red but as I said my sis gets
amber. <shrug>

Don't know about diesel but marine GAS is/was blue.
Does any state actually check CARS for dyed fuel? WA is just starting to
check trucks in wheat and such type farming areas. Turns out several
on road trucks were hauling product to silos and whatnot with red fuel in
their tanks. :o They're getting a little more picky but haven't gone to
checking cars yet.
I wonder how nasty they'd be if your home-brew came up red? It surely
is at least a little different in color. If you use a lot of Power Service
your fuel will turn pretty red too. Too bad we can't still get that old
purple motor oil to add. ;-)
