[Vwdiesel] Problem with injector lines

  I wonder if that injector failed/stuck shut and that's what caused the line
to go?  It WOULD explain the situation.
  The banging would easily be explained by a bad injector.  Running it
with that line leaking shouldn't damage the injector.  Of course with that
kind of mileage it might be time for a set.
