[Vwdiesel] Re: dyeing fuel

They just have a bulb sucker like an antifreeze tester with a clear tube to
look at.  If it's red, you are in trouble.  If it's not, the revenue
collector looks surprised, and you drive away.  In Saskatchewan, they just
pull them all over as part of a "safety blitz"  which is codespeak for
revenue blitz, and if it's a diesel, it's just another thing to check.  It
wouldn't bother me so much, but they look so gleeful when they are stuffing
the tester in...

As to fighting it in court, if the fuel is red, you are running untaxed fuel
and got caught.  What's to fight?... other than how much the lawyer is
worth?
