If you blow the
bottle at 6000 rpm, and  combustion stops - but then when the engine is
winding down and it gets to 1500 rpm what happens if the co2 is all
gone?????   it seems to me the engine would pick back up and start
hauling ass again.

  Not if you engage the clutch and braking.  :)  Most likely once you're
down to the "teens" in RPM then there shouldn't be enough blowby
or ring sucking going on to provide enough oil for a restart.  I would
think most runaways happen in the upper 2K's on up.
