[Vwdiesel] cracked head

Hi again. I'm changing a head gasket on an 84 rabbit 1.6. Well, I snapped the
last head bolt (12mm), but was still able to remove head. Now I have to get
this last bolt out of the block. Luckily it protrudes a couple of inches from
the block! It is quite rusty. Preliminary head inspection revealed that cracks
were present in the space between valves (valve seats?). The cracks appeared to
be small, but clearly visible. They extend from 1 valve to the next. Is this
head scrap metal, or can it be reused? I haven't checked it for warpage yet.
