[Vwdiesel] pulling the shutoff solenoid

   Yeah, but you could put a mechanical on/off valve in the line right there and
run a cable to it. Most diesels (other than VW) I've ever owned or worked on did
it mechanically, which is one heck of a lot better. I really don't know why VW
went with a solenoid.
