I DO get this problem but it's when the timing belt gets wet. Run
through a puddle and the oil light comes right on! I'm going to put the
preluber and the turbo on when I do the head gasket this time. I DO NOT
like seeing that light come on! Usually letting it drop to an idle would
get the speed differential down to where it starts pumping again. I'm
running the 36mm pump. I've never noticed it seemingly slip while cold
but it does take longer to go out when it's really cold out. :(
